Job summary

WIN Network in Traralgon (Gippsland) seeks an ENG Camera Operator/Editor to shoot and edit news stories for our regional newsroom. The role reports to the State News Director and involves working on diverse stories across environment, sport, and community topics.

The successful candidate will combine camera operation with editing proficiency, meet tight deadlines, and contribute ideas in a collaborative team setting within a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule at the Traralgon office.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing.
• Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work productively in a team environment.
• Ability to contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative.
• Positive work ethic and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit high quality news stories for the newsroom.
• Cover a range of beats including environment, sport, and politics.
• Collaborate with the State News Director and newsroom staff to deliver stories.
