We are seeking an experienced Solutions Innovation Manager to drive the identification, adaptation, and integration of innovative products into CSR's portfolio of building products and systems.

This newly created opportunity will play a critical role in accelerating growth, expanding our market offering, and strengthening our leadership position across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Innovation & Product Development Manager, you will lead the evaluation and integration of products and technologies that enhance CSR's systems portfolio. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technical, Compliance, and Operations teams, you will convert market opportunities into commercially successful building solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and integration of innovative building products and systems into the CSR portfolio.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical, and category teams to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and portfolio gaps.
• Manage a pipeline of product and system integration projects through a structured stage-gate process.
• Work closely with local and international technical and compliance teams to ensure products meet local and international standards.
• Develop compelling value propositions that clearly communicate product performance, sustainability, compliance, and customer benefits.
• Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor offerings to drive strategic product decisions.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, industry experts, and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to business cases, budgets, and investment proposals that support profitable growth initiatives.

What You'll Bring

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and thrives in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and execution are critical to success. To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Degree qualifications in Engineering (Chemical), Materials Science, Product Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in building products, building systems, innovation, product management, portfolio development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success delivering commercially viable product or system development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of building products, applications, Australian testing requirements, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Proven project management capability with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into compelling messages for diverse audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience partnering with technical, manufacturing, and commercial teams to bring new solutions to market.
