Jelm Allied Health is seeking a new graduate Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, fun and collaborative team in Melbourne’s west.
We support children, teenagers and young adults, predominantly neurodivergent participants, alongside people with psychosocial support needs. Your caseload will develop gradually, with guidance to build your skills and confidence across different ages and areas of practice.
Occupational therapy is at the heart of what we do! We bring our work back to occupation, meaningful participation and the everyday activities that matter to each person. You’ll be supported to connect OT theory with practice and develop your clinical reasoning.
You don’t need to arrive knowing everything. We’re looking for curiosity, a willingness to ask questions and an interest in growing as an occupational therapist.
Your role will include a mix of clinic-based sessions at our Werribee practice and mobile outreach to homes, schools and community settings. You’ll get to know participants in their everyday environments and work alongside families, educators and support networks to make therapy practical and meaningful. As your confidence grows, there will be opportunities to explore clinical interests, contribute to group programs and learn from a varied caseload.
We take our work seriously and enjoy having a laugh together. You’ll be joining a team that shares ideas, celebrates progress and makes room for questions. With approachable senior clinicians and strong administrative support, you’ll have people around you as you find your feet.
You’ll need an Occupational Therapy qualification and AHPRA registration before commencing, a Working with Children Check, and a current driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle.
