Job summary

Viva Leisure is seeking a Facility Manager for the Plus Fitness Rydalmere site as it moves to a brand-new space. You will lead end-to-end operations, including reception, gym floor, group fitness, retail and wellness areas while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for members and staff.

You’ll manage rostering, recruitment, compliance and administration, drive membership growth and coach a multi-service team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Fitness is desirable for club/ gym roles.
• Pool Operations and Lifeguard Certifications are essential for aquatic facility roles.
• First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across the facility including reception, gym floor, group fitness, retail and wellness spaces.
• Champion safety and enforce injury prevention protocols.
• Recruit, train, roster and develop your team, coaching to perform at their best.
• Drive membership growth and retention, maintain accurate records and relevant programs.
• Role-model Viva Leisure's values and work with other managers to deliver the bigger picture.
