Job summary

Viva Leisure is seeking a hands-on Facility Manager for Plus Fitness Rydalmere to lead the club through a move into a brand-new facility and oversee end-to-end operations from opening day.

You will manage financial performance, member experience, safety and presentation, coach a diverse team, and work with the Area Manager to deliver Viva Leisure's service standards in a dynamic community setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility management or a similar leadership role within health/fitness.
• Ability to lead, develop and mentor teams across service areas (reception, fitness, retail, wellness).
• Strong understanding of rostering, recruitment, compliance and administration.
• Proven ability to drive membership growth and manage membership systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across the facility, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members and staff.
• Champion safety, enforce injury prevention protocols and respond to incidents.
• Recruit, train, roster and develop your team to perform at their best.
• Drive membership growth and retention and keep accurate records of programs.
• Role-model Viva Leisure's values and collaborate with other managers to deliver the bigger picture.
