Job summary

MICM is seeking a motivated New Business & Property Manager to own a boutique residential portfolio while driving growth across the business. You will leverage industry knowledge to generate new managements, conduct appraisals, and collaborate with Sales and Leasing teams to expand the client base.

This is not a traditional property management role; you’ll maintain strong client relationships, ensure tenancy compliance, and help scale the business from Melbourne's inner area.

Qualifications

• Previous Property Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian Residential Tenancies legislation.
• A natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting new people.
• Confident communication and presentation skills.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Current Agent's Representative Certificate.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Manage a boutique residential portfolio and conduct routine inspections.
• Maintain relationships with rental providers and renters, oversee lease renewals and arrears.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and contractor management.
• Prospect for new managements and build relationships with investors and referral partners.
• Collaborate with Sales and Leasing teams to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Victorian tenancy legislation.

MICM is looking for a motivated and commercially minded New Business & Property Manager to take ownership of a boutique portfolio while driving the growth of new managements across our business.

This is not a traditional Property Management role.

You’ll have the opportunity to leverage your industry knowledge and client relationships to generate new business, conduct management appraisals, work closely with our Sales and Leasing teams, and play a direct role in the growth of one of Melbourne's leading property management businesses. At the same time, you’ll maintain a manageable portfolio that keeps you connected to your clients and the day‑to‑day operations of property management.
