Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Limited (CACGEL) seeks a Network Services Officer to support network and telephony across schools and offices. You will install, configure, monitor, maintain the network infrastructure, assist with upgrades and incident response.

The role contributes to SD-WAN modernization and embedding new technologies while strengthening CACGEL's cybersecurity posture in collaboration with the Cyber Security team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain Accreditation under Work Teach and Lead policy.
• WWVP WWCC clearance and valid driver’s license before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, maintain and support CACGEL network infrastructure and services.
• Monitor availability and performance, respond to incidents and service degradation.
• Implement network security controls and address vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Contribute to network modernisation, upgrades, migrations and testing.
• Maintain documentation and provide guidance to ICT Operations colleagues.
