These positions areaccountable for the delivery of assigned projects within the Network Project Delivery – Transmission, SCADA & Telecommunications area. The roles ensureacommitment for safety, scope, quality, schedule and financial performance are effectively managed in accordance with Western Power’s project management and investment governance requirements.
Thesepositions manage projects of significant complexity, value, visibility and reputational impact, working closely with the Team Leader to maintain strong delivery discipline, provide transparent performance reporting and proactively resolve or elevate risks, constraints and emerging issues.
We will be hiring fortwo (2) positions -Permanent and a 20-month max term Contract / Secondment.
Lead the delivery of complex assigned projects to agreed safety, scope, quality, schedule and financial commitments.
Establish projects for successful execution, ensuring scope, delivery strategies, controls, risks, interfaces, resource requirements and stakeholder expectations are clearly defined and understood.
Manage projects in accordance with Western Power’s project management and investment governance frameworks, systems, controls and processes, including required assurance activities and gate reviews.
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, resource plans, budgets and forecasts, with accurate and timely reporting of capital and operating expenditure, productivity and delivery performance.
Proactively identify and manage project assumptions, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery constraints, implementing effective mitigation strategies and escalating material matters to the Team Leader where required .
Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams and delivery partners, aligning priorities and resources to achieve agreed project outcomes.
Build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting open communication, collaboration and timely resolution of delivery issues.
Demonstrate strong safety leadership through active engagement with project teams, worksites and delivery partners, without compromising quality or delivery outcomes.
Support the Team Leader in driving consistent project delivery, standardisation, continuous improvement and strong governance discipline across the area.
