Job summary

Western Power, WA's electricity network leader, is seeking a senior executive to shape the long-term growth of the transmission network. You will align strategy with WA's energy transition, oversee major augmentation programs and modernisation initiatives, and ensure safe, efficient delivery.

• Senior executive with substantial infrastructure experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute major strategies.
• Strong understanding of energy electrification and transmission.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction for transmission network growth aligned to strategy.
• Develop and implement modernisation strategies for the grid and renewables.
• Lead major transmission augmentation and construction programs.
• Integrate planning with government planning and policy objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with government, regulators, and industry.
• Act as principal interface with government on growth and policy.
• Provide strategic advice to CEO, Board and ELT on growth and risk.
• Lead enterprise-wide change and transformation for agility.
• Champion innovation and data-driven approaches to development.
• Lead and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
