  • Work collaboratively with field staff, Emergency Service and your team, you will act swiftly to respond to incidents to contain the event and keep everyone safe
  • Incident Management and Traffic Management plans will become second nature to you, you will create these with ease to ensure our roads run more efficiently and safely when things don’t go to plan
  • Collate real‑time info on road conditions for our stakeholders, the media and our customers, so there are no surprises when they use our roads
  • Understand the importance of rigorous knowledge of traffic management policies, practices and procedures, including operational systems.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:
  • Experience in a monitoring centre or operational environment
  • Computer smart and analytical, you’re fascinated with new technology and systems - you like to jump in the deep end
  • Organised, efficient and decisive in prioritising the tasks that count, all while juggling multiple tasks
  • Experienced in writing reports and you know which important details to include so the operation runs smoothly
  • Shift work’s your thing, you’ve done it before and you like it – our roads are open 24/7.

If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
