Livingstone Shire Council is seeking a hands‑on Team Leader Network Operations (Plumber) to maintain water and wastewater reticulation systems across the region. You will lead preventative and reactive maintenance, support capital works and ensure system reliability for the community.

The role requires current plumbing qualifications and licences, White Card, and additional certifications. A driver licence is also essential for site travel and operations.

Formación

• Plumbing Trade qualifications and a current Queensland Plumber and Drainer Licence.
• Construction Industry Induction (White Card).
• Backflow Prevention endorsement, Working at Heights Certificate, Confined Space Certification and Traffic Management Implementation certification.
• Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater reticulation networks, helping to keep critical services flowing for local residents.
• Play an important role in capital works projects, including installing or refurbishing pipes, mains and key infrastructure across the network.
• Undertake hydrant testing, valve servicing, and backflow prevention activities that contribute to public safety and system reliability.
• Operate a variety of plant, tools, and equipment essential to maintaining and improving the network.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safety‑focused team environment where everyone looks out for each other.
