Townsville City Council is seeking an experienced Plumber to lead day-to-day maintenance across the regional water network. You will be the on-site contact for access, permits and safety, guiding staff and contractors to council standards while addressing leaks and planned works to ensure uninterrupted water supply.

The role requires supervisory skills, a strong safety culture, and ability to coordinate with teams, with on-call and overtime commitments as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualification in Plumbing with water reticulation experience.
• Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD)
• Current 'C' class driver's licence with ability to obtain MR
• Traffic Management Implementation course accredited
• Confined Space Entry experience
• Asbestos removal training and experience
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a team to maintain water supply
• Strong workplace health and safety understanding and compliance
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
