Job summary

Green Light Worldwide is partnering with a leading enterprise in Sydney to hire a Network Engineer for a hybrid role at our Bella Vista office. The 6-month initial assignment offers the chance to extend as part of major transformation initiatives across large-scale networks.

You will design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure including SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless environments, with strong emphasis on collaboration with security and application teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless networks.
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs.
• Experience supporting large multi-site networks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Green Light Australiaare partnering with a leading company to engage Network Engineers to join a major enterprise technology team supporting large-scale network operations and transformation initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, requiring attendance at the Bella Vista office three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless environments.
• Support network performance, availability, and security across multiple sites.
• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure and associated network services.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to resolve complex network issues.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Produce technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular status updates.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10years' experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • SD-WAN
  • Routing and Switching
  • Enterprise Wireless Networks
  • Network troubleshooting and support
• Exposure to Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Strong understanding of network protocols including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site network environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing capabilities.
