Job summary

BlueCare is seeking an Administration / Scheduling Officer for a permanent full-time role in Chermside. The position focuses on rostering, scheduling, coordination of appointments, and acting as the first point of contact for internal and external customers.

You will use MS Office and database systems, manage travel and meeting arrangements, and support senior staff on special projects. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience with rostering or scheduling is highly regarded.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and database applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support multiple teams within each neighbourhood.
  • Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers via phone, email and in person.
  • Manage requests, concerns and inquiries.
  • Rostering and scheduling support for the neighbourhood.
  • Create correspondence and documentation as requested.
  • Organise appointments, travel and meeting/workshop arrangements.
  • Monitor, order and distribute office supplies and arrange for maintenance/repair of office equipment.
  • Ensure data in BlueCare systems and databases is accurate and up to date.
  • Use MS Office and database applications (intermediate–advanced).
  • Assist senior staff with special projects as required.

Administration / Scheduling Officer | BlueCare

Employment Status: Permanent - Full time

Location: Chermside

Remuneration: $33.22 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Employee discounts

Key responsibilities include but are limited to:
  • Supporting and coordinating different teams within each neighbourhood
  • Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers - via phone, email and in person
  • Manage requests, concerns and inquiries
  • Rostering and scheduling support for the neighbourhood
  • Creation of correspondence and documentation as requested
  • Efficiently organise appointments, diaries, travel and meeting/workshop preparatory arrangements.
  • Monitor, order and distribute office supplies and arrange for the maintenance/repair of office equipment
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information in financial, human resource and other Blue Care systems and databases
  • Use mainstream software including the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications (Intermediate – Advanced skills required)
  • Assist senior staff with special projects as required
Role requirements:
  • You will have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in rostering/scheduling – Highly regarded
  • Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload
  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications
  • Confidence with smart phone and digital devices or willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads with a can‑do attitude
