Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver community care across Mackay and surrounding areas. You will assess, plan and implement client care within your scope while addressing physical, social and psychological needs.

The role involves travel for scheduled visits, with a focus on high-quality care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to clinical standards. Part-time (min 4 days/week) or full-time options are available.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration required and current.
• General nursing experience post registration essential.
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence (Green Provisional minimum) essential.
• Vehicle with roadworthy and insurance for work essential.
• Ability to manage time and work autonomously.

Role requirements

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
• General nursing experience, post registration
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
