BlueCare is seeking a Home Services Officer for the Gympie Aged Care Facility. Perm part-time and casual roles available. You will assist with meals, dining, cleaning, laundry and resident wellbeing, delivering a high standard of hygiene and safety in a not-for-profit setting.

Experience in hospitality or cleaning is preferred, with strong teamwork and customer service. A valid screening clearance and ability to meet probity checks are required.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

About the role:

• Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals are delivered safely and meet dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and support residents during mealtimes
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties, including maintaining resident rooms and shared areas and caring for clothing and linen
• Engage with residents in a warm and respectful manner, creating a positive experience
• Deliver a high standard of hygiene and safety across all tasks
• Support the team with daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery

Role requirements:

• Prior experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services or similar environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred customer service with warmth and respect
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards
• Understanding of or willingness to learn food safety, infection control and cleaning practices
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
