Job summary

Thales Australia is seeking a role within its Munitions teams in Benalla/Mulwala to contribute to propellants, explosives and munitions manufacturing and related defence systems. The position requires strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and proficiency in technical reporting and MS Office.

Applicants should be ideally trade-qualified in Engineering/Science or hold a Year 12 certificate with maths/science.

OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world's most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• NAS-410, NDT Level 2 (Radiography) or equivalent
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
• Proficiency in technical reporting and Microsoft Office

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Ideally trade qualified (Engineering/Science) or have attained a Year 12 certificate with a maths /science subject matter.
• Enjoy working within a team environment
• Clear and influential verbal and written communication.
• A high attention of detail.
