Job summary

Frontline Support Services is seeking an NDIS Support Worker in Cairns (ABN subcontractor). You will provide person-centred support to participants to help them achieve goals, maintain independence and participate in the community.

Key responsibilities include day-to-day support, personal care, meal prep, documenting progress and assisting with appointments and community activities. The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals who can work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day support to NDIS participants
• Supporting participants with personal care and daily living activities where required
• Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks
• Maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment
• Supporting participants to attend appointments and community activities
• Assisting participants to develop independence and life skills
• Supporting participants to participate in social and recreational activities
• Following individual support plans and participant goals
• Completing required documentation, progress notes and other records
• Supporting positive behaviour and following behaviour support plans where applicable
