Job summary

Purple Patch Consulting is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to assist NDIS participants in their own homes on a casual basis. This role emphasizes meaningful, person-centered care, reliability, dignity, and community engagement.

You will perform domestic tasks, meal preparation, personal care, transport, and social support, with consistent rosters, onboarding, training, and access to a supportive team. This role values reliability and compassionate connection.

Qualifications

• Previous paid experience as a Disability Support Worker
• Certificate III in Community Services or another relevant qualification
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• First Aid Certificate with current CPR
• NDIS Worker Screening Check for paid employment
• Working with Children Check for paid employment
• National Police Check issued within the last six months, or willingness to obtain one
• Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Reliable smartphone with mobile data

Responsibilities

• Support NDIS participants living independently in their own homes.
• Provide domestic assistance, meal preparation, transportation and community access.
• Assist with personal hygiene and personal care.
• Build daily living skills and provide social and emotional support.
• Offer companionship and help participants engage with the community.
