Job summary

Uniting Communities is seeking casual NDIS Support Workers to assist participants across Metro Adelaide. You will work with participants to enable goal attainment, independence, and engagement in community activities.

You will collaborate with supervisors and care teams to deliver personalised support, while maintaining person-centred approaches and safeguarding participants’ wellbeing. We welcome applicants with NDIS experience and a commitment to respectful, inclusive service.

Qualifications

• NDIS experience (minimum 6 months paid experience) is required.
• Certificate III or higher in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services or similar qualification is required.
• Full, unrestricted driver’s licence is preferred for community-based work.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Willingness to work across Metro Adelaide areas.
• Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to help participants reach their NDIS goals.
• Support participants to engage in community and daily activities to live a meaningful life.
• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to plan and deliver tailored support.
• Support families and carers as needed and provide person-centred assistance.
