Job summary

Purple Patch Consulting is seeking compassionate Support Workers in Bellbird Park QLD to assist NDIS participants living independently at home.

Most shifts are low intensity but crucial, helping with daily tasks such as domestic duties, meal prep, medication prompting, transport, personal care, daily living skills, and social support. Roles require flexibility for a 24/7 roster, with weekdays and weekend shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Support NDIS participants living independently in their own homes.
• Most supports are relatively low intensity but crucial for the person receiving them.
• Assist with domestic assistance, meal preparation, and medication prompting.
• Provide transportation and community access support.
• Assist with personal hygiene and personal care including showering, toileting and feeding.
• Help build daily living skills and provide social and emotional support.
• Offer companionship and help participants engage with the community.
• Some days help organize at home; other days take participants into the community.
• Conversations with participants who appreciate your presence are also a key part of the role.
