Job summary

Interact Australia is seeking a dedicated support worker in Wangaratta to assist clients with disability in achieving their goals outlined in their NDIS plans. The role focuses on promoting independence through community participation, skill-building, and relationship development.

You will respond to client needs, collaborate with families, maintain detailed progress notes and work within the NDIS Code of Conduct. Prior experience with autism, mental health or challenging behaviours is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and support to people with disability.
• Understanding of NDIS and person-centred planning principles.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with families and support networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to clients to meet their NDIS goals.
• Assist with community participation, skill-building and daily activities.
• Keep accurate progress notes and maintain client records.
• Work in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and organisational policies.
