Job summary

Total Support Services in Adelaide is seeking an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to empower clients with disabilities to connect with communities and providers. The role requires experience with mental health needs and will help participants navigate the NDIS plan and maximise supports.

You will join a metropolitan Adelaide team in a full-time permanent position, working collaboratively to deliver excellent outcomes and supportive service to clients and families.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Disability or equivalent training.
• Demonstrated experience working with clients with mental health needs is essential.
• Previous experience in NDIS Support Coordination and understanding of NDS plans and participant funding.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with participants, families, service providers and other professionals.

As a NDIS Support Coordinator, you will assist our clients with disabilities to take more control of their lives and better manage challenges of day-to-day living. This position requires demonstrated experience working with clients with mental health needs.

The role NDIS Support Coordinator is to empower clients by supporting them to connect with their chosen communities and service providers to achieve their goals live a full and contributing life. Support Coordinators play a crucial role in supporting NDIS participants to understand the NDS scheme, navigate and utilize their plan, and ensure that their clients are getting the best possible support from their chosen providers.

Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications Disability OR equivalent training and/or a minimum two years' of experience in related work
• Demonstrated experience working with clients with mental health needs - essential
• Previous experience in NDIS Support Coordination and a sound understanding of NDS plans and participant funding
• Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with participants, families, service providers and other relevant professionals

Demonstrated skills in supporting children and adults

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Clearance
