Job summary

selectability is seeking a Support Coordinator in Bowen to work with participants navigating the NDIS and interpreting individual packages. You will help ensure participants get the most from their NDIS plans, coordinating services and engaging with stakeholders to support meaningful community living.

The role requires driving capability and a flexible, collaborative approach to support a diverse client base in regional Queensland. Casual, with benefits and development opportunities, in Bowen.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the NDIS is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to engage recipients and work with culturally diverse communities.
• Valid Queensland driver’s licence and access to a vehicle; first aid/CPR and safety checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower participants to decide how they want to live their lives.
• Coordinate a range of services to help participants live fulfilling lives in the community.
• Engage with and manage stakeholders to ensure supports are leveraged and not duplicated.
• Help participants strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports.
