Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking Expressions of Interest for Local Area Coordinators in Tamworth. The role centers on linking participants to services, guiding NDIS plan options and helping navigate funding while fostering capacity building.

You’ll support participants, families and carers, coordinate with services, and contribute to achieving timely service delivery. A strong emphasis on inclusion and lived experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with disability sector or NDIS knowledge or lived experience.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Link participants to community and NDIA services and referrals.
• Guide participants through options and assist in developing NDIS plans.
• Support participants to understand funding and pathways throughout their journey.
