Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Local Area Coordinator (LAC) at our Singleton HNER site. This full‑time permanent role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with two days of work‑from‑home and a rostered day off each month. You will support participants to navigate the NDIS, link to services and help develop plans that build capacity and choices. The role offers SCHADS 4.1 from $92k per year, salary packaging up to $18,550, and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Background with Disability, understanding of a Local Area Coordinator and NDIS knowledge or lived experience.
• Ability to multitask and meet service delivery deadlines.
• KPI-driven work experience or targets or caseloads handling with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Link participants to and navigate the NDIS, providing information for plan development.
• Support participants to understand funding and options in their plans.
• Assist families and carers with access to community and mainstream services and NDIA-funded programs.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Service Area Leadership Team.
