Job summary

Compassionate Community Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist participants across SIL, Community Access and individual supports in Cairns and Far North Queensland.

You will promote independence, dignity and choice while following person-centred plans. This casual role offers flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, with training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or related field preferred.
• NDIS experience encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in SIL homes and Community Access.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Maintain progress notes and required documentation.
• Follow participant support plans and risk management strategies.
• Transport participants to appointments and community activities.
