Psych Connect Pty Ltd Psychology Practice in Queensland is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support to NDIS participants. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, community participation, and skill development while promoting dignity, choice and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in person-centred disability support.
• Understanding of positive behaviour support practices.
• Ability to adapt to flexible shifts, including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualised support based on participant goals and needs.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, meals and household activities.
• Support community participation, appointments, and social activities.
• Assist participants with physical, intellectual, psychosocial, and developmental disabilities.
• Implement positive behaviour support strategies where required.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Build positive relationships with participants, families, and support teams.
