Ability Street Community Services - Parramatta NSW is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals in the community with diverse needs, including physical and mental disabilities, and elderly care. The role emphasizes building trust, independence, and practical daily living support while maintaining a person-centred approach.

The position offers on-the-ground training; ABN and a valid car are required.

Competenze

• ABN and Car is required for applicants.
• Qualifications are desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Experience in care roles is helpful but not required.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with accessing community resources and services
• Provide emotional and social support to clients and engage in activities
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers using mobility aids if needed
• Support with meals planning, preparation and feeding if required
• Help with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, shopping and personal care
• Transport clients to appointments and outings
