Job summary

AVG (Australian Valve Group) is seeking an experienced National Warehouse Manager to lead operations across Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. You will manage a 12-person team, oversee inventory accuracy, and drive efficiency and safety across three sites.

Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, this role involves payroll, training, scheduling, and cost management while coordinating with other sites and providing hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive warehouse experience in a management/supervisory capacity.
• Computer literate with inventory planning systems and ERP experience.
• Material planning is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and drive accuracy; perform cycle counts.
• Meet or exceed turn goals by balancing stock to demand.
• Hire, train and performance-manage warehouse staff.
• Oversee receiving, verification of freight and documentation.
• Develop and maintain WHS procedures and safety records.
• Monitor costs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
