Job summary

AVK Wang is seeking a casual Warehouse Storeperson to join our Wangaratta VIC facility. The role covers picking, packing, dispatching, goods receiving, and stock control using RF scanners and ERP systems.

You will work in a small warehouse environment that values accuracy, safety, and teamwork. A forklift licence and basic IT skills are required, with opportunities to grow in a global valve manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Outlook & Excel.
• Ability to be a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving, labelling, and storing of incoming goods.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Using RF barcode scanners and computer terminals to complete stock movements.
• Checking inwards goods against paperwork and processing receipts in our ERP system.
• Conducting cycle counts (stocktaking).
• Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participating in general warehouse activities.
