Job summary

Lineage Logistics, the world\'s largest temperature-controlled logistics provider, seeks a senior transport planning expert to govern and optimise national network planning. This role blends strategy, analytics and operational influence to deliver cost-effective, executable plans across multiple modes.

You will review TMS outputs, drive planning standards, and mentor planners while collaborating with operations, finance and safety teams to lift network performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in transport planning and optimisation.
• Experience with TMS platforms such as Blue Yonder or ORTEC.
• Ability to influence and translate data into action.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise transport planning outcomes across a national network.
• Review and challenge TMS outputs to ensure practical execution.
• Deliver improvements in cost efficiency, load utilisation and service outcomes.
• Provide governance, standards and planning frameworks nationally.
• Partner with operations, logistics, finance and safety teams.
• Coach and uplift capability of transport planners.
• Support system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Translate complex optimisation data into clear operational direction.
