Bluestone Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national construction services business to appoint a National Technical Manager - Hot Water Solutions to establish and lead a newly created national division.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hot water professional with strong industry relationships and a background in high-volume installation environments to take ownership of a new division and build the operational framework for national growth.

Qualifications

• Current and appropriate hot water licensing.
• Experience managing or coordinating high-volume installation programs, ideally within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of hot water installation requirements, regulations and compliance.
• Established relationships across the hot water installation and subcontractor market.
• Experience developing installation standards, processes or technical documentation.
• The ability to build and manage a high-performing subcontractor network.
• Strong commercial understanding, including installation scoping and pricing.
• The capability to establish systems and processes that can be scaled nationally.
• A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to operate autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the technical lead and national licensing lead for the hot water division.
• Developing installation standards, processes and technical documentation.
• Building and managing a national subcontractor network.
• Ensuring compliance with hot water regulations and standards.
• Developing scalable installation processes for high-volume residential construction.

Bluestone Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national construction services business to appoint a National Technical Manager - Hot Water Solutions to establish and lead a newly created national division.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hot water professional with strong industry relationships and a background in high-volume installation environments to take ownership of a new division and build the operational framework for national growth.

The initial focus will be establishing the division across VIC & NSW before expanding into QLD, SA.

You will become the division's technical expert and licensing lead, developing the standards, systems, processes and subcontractor network required to successfully integrate a new hot water product into an established volume new home installation model.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leadership and supported by established Construction and Operations teams, you will have autonomy to develop and shape the division from the ground up.

• Acting as the technical lead, product expert and national licensing lead for the hot water division.
• Supporting licensing requirements as the division expands into other states.
• Developing technical manuals, installation guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant state and national hot water regulations and standards.
• Developing scalable installation processes specifically for high-volume new home construction.
• Establishing installation scopes, methodologies and pricing models.
• Integrating hot water installations into the existing national installation model.
• Building, recruiting and managing a national subcontractor network.
• Leveraging your existing industry relationships to establish and grow the subcontractor network.
• Monitoring installation quality, compliance, productivity and subcontractor performance.
• Establishing the systems and processes required to support future national growth.

About You

We are looking for an experienced hot water professional who combines strong technical knowledge with practical industry experience and established subcontractor relationships.

You will ideally have:
