Job summary

Lendlease is seeking a Cost Planner / Estimator to support the national services cost planning team, focusing on building services trades across multiple sectors. You will manage budgets, prepare detailed estimates and drive cost insights from budget through tender submissions.

Role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, leadership in tender analysis and cost vetting, and contributing to sustainable initiatives and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Cost planning / estimating experience
• Specialist experience in building services trades
• Experience with CostX or similar estimating platforms
• Strong decision making and influencing skills
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to build trust with stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Create and manage services trade budgets
• Prepare detailed measures and estimates
• Collate data analytics and benchmarking
• Provide cost support for value engineering and option management
• Participate in services procurement strategies to drive competitive outcomes
• Assess commercial opportunities and risks
• Engage with clients, partners, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
• Lead tender analysis and cost vetting of subcontractor returns
• Be actively engaged in collaborative tender processes
• Provide cost planning for sustainable initiatives and emerging technologies
