Job summary

Recruit Career Consult Pty Ltd is seeking an accomplished National Retail Manager to lead the ANZ retail network across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the COO, you will manage a team of senior District Managers, drive national sales, profitability and store standards, and ensure high customer experience.

You will be hands-on and commercially sharp in a founder-led growth environment, visible across the store network and collaborating with senior leadership and field teams.

Qualifications

• Significant senior multi-site retail leadership experience.
• Proven accountability for sales, P&L and store performance.
• Comfortable operating in a founder-led business undergoing change.
• Willingness to be highly visible within the business.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive national retail sales, profitability and commercial performance across Australia and New Zealand.
• Lead, coach and hold senior field leaders accountable for commercial, people and operational outcomes.
• Analyse key retail drivers including traffic, conversion, ATV, UPT, labour productivity and store performance.
• Identify underperforming stores and regions, establish clear recovery plans and drive measurable improvement.
• Own controllable retail P&L, wage performance and labour productivity.
• Build leadership capability, succession and performance across the retail network.
• Drive consistent standards across customer experience, store operations, campaigns, VM and promotional execution.
• Partner closely with Finance, People, Merchandising, Marketing, VM, Operations, Property and Supply Chain.
