Job summary

AccountAbility is partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit an experienced National Payroll Manager. This role oversees the end-to-end national payroll operation and leads a team of 7 payroll professionals across Australia.

You will ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with Australian legislation and driving continuous improvement in payroll governance and system enhancements. Includes a hybrid work setup and a Parramatta location.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong hands-on SAP Payroll experience is essential.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA/ECP environments is highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Awards and compliance.
• Experience leading payroll teams across multi-site or multi-entity environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 7 payroll professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end national payroll operations across Australia.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery for a dispersed workforce.
• Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation.
• Drive payroll governance, controls, standardisation and improvements.
• Manage payroll reconciliations, statutory reporting and month-end activities.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and IT to optimise service delivery.
