U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Program Officer to support the Team Leader in coordinating administrative and mental health clinical services for Open Arms clients.

You will assist in preparing reports, rostering, telephony coordination, and financial activity, while maintaining high standards of service delivery. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, initiative, and integrity as part of a national service with a 24/7 telephony

• Experience in extracting data for performance, rostering and financial reports is a plus.
• Administrative and technical support functions for large team.
• Ability to support national service standards and ongoing service delivery.

Mansioni

• Extract data to prepare and distribute performance, financial, rostering and telephony reports across workgroup functions.
• Assist with administrative and technical functions for Client Assist and day-to-day operational support.
• Support a cohesive team relationship to ensure service delivery aligns with national standards.
• Assist in line management of administration staff, including feedback and training needs.
• Monitor quality of work and conduct QA activities, including audits and feedback summaries.
• Support Client Assist’s financial requirements and invoice processing in line with policy.
• Apply APS values and contribute to the organisation’s mission and values.
• Create/maintain rosters for business hours staff and shift workers in line with fatigue management.
• Assist onboarding and cessation of staff, including access requests and issuing ICT equipment.
• Contribute to service delivery via queue management and frontline call handling of admin calls.
• Coordinate daily updates and all-staff communications, standups and meetings.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on policy/project/operational issues.
