Job summary

Australian Red Cross is seeking a Senior Manager – Workforce Capability & Engagement to lead the nationwide workforce strategy for emergency services, disaster resilience, response and recovery. You will shape capability development, wellbeing and engagement across a diverse volunteer workforce.

You will oversee planning, model alignment with disaster risk, and collaboration with partners to ensure readiness and effective mobilization in rising community needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading national portfolios and workforce programs at scale.
• Experience in workforce planning, strategy, and capability development for volunteer workforces.
• Strong knowledge of volunteer management, wellbeing, and trauma-informed practice.
