Job summary

KONE is seeking a Project Manager to join the New Building Solutions Team in Mascot, NSW. The role will administer and control multiple Sydney-based projects, leveraging strong resource management, customer engagement and team motivation to deliver on time and to budget.

You will work in a globally respected elevator and escalator leader, with access to extensive training, safety programs and career progression within a renowned organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience delivering construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable (Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Eng).
• Lift industry experience desired.
• Experience managing a high volume of projects simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management with track record of driving outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety targets by developing a safety-focused culture and adhering to procedures.
• Effectively communicate with customers and subcontractors during installation.
• Support site managers and provide leadership during escalations.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting and reporting.
• Champion continuous improvement across the delivery function.

KONE are looking for a Project Manager to join our New Building Solutions Team in Mascot, NSW. This person will administer and control projects across Sydney using their ability to manage resources, engage proactively with customers and motivate and inspire project teams.

What will you be doing?

• Achieve KONE’s safety targets by developing a safety focused culture, ensuring adherence to clearly defined procedures and guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with customers and subcontractors throughout the installation process.
• Support site managers and provide leadership during project escalations.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery function.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years’ experience in delivering construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications highly desirable (i.e. Construction Management, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering).
• Lift industry experience desired.
• Experience managing a high volume of projects at one time.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships and driving successful outcomes.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
