Job summary

Toro Australia seeks a National Irrigation Specification Manager to lead nationwide irrigation specifications from concept to completion. Based in Braeside, VIC, candidates from Qld/NSW are welcome.

You will collaborate with consultants, architects, designers, dealers, and end users to secure project specs across golf, sports turf, tracks, and public spaces, building a strong project pipeline and delivering commercially competitive solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in irrigation industry, 5–10 years.
• Proven ability to secure product specifications with consultants, architects, designers, and contractors.
• Strong business development and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP/SalesLogix experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Secure irrigation product specifications on commercial projects nationwide.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of future project opportunities.
• Identify projects early and influence specifications.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, and designers on compliant solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, dealers, specifiers, contractors, and influencers.
• Support project tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activity.
• Provide outstanding customer support through design, tender, construction, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and WHS requirements.
