Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, irrigation engineers, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure objectives are achieved including sales, purchases, and business partnerships.
• Provide counsel to senior management on irrigation matters and execute their directives.
• Compile and evaluate submissions and reports regarding irrigation operations.
• Gather and scrutinise data associated with undertaken irrigation projects and present findings on project results, analysing potential risks with legal and procurement teams.
• Address inquiries and manage documents resolving issues related to irrigation contractual agreements, initiatives, undertakings, rendered services, and impacted individuals.
• Develop, assess, and negotiate modifications to contractual agreements and initiatives, ensuring compliance with irrigation legal requirements.
• Supervise irrigation contractor activities and manage proposal preparation, contract performance, and contract closeouts.
• Maintain organised records.

Surfcoast Commercial Irrigation & D & A Irrigation has been operating for 10 years in the commercial irrigation industry focusing & specialising in the supply & installation of poly pipe or PVC pipe irrigation systems on golf courses & racetracks. We have installed Rainbird, Toro & Hunter irrigation systems on Golf Course & Race tracks in NSW, Victoria and Queensland.

Position Objective

As we have a growing demand for the services we provide, we need the expertise in water management, irrigation system design and installation, and maintenance to optimise our irrigation productivity, conserve water resources, and contribute to sustainable environmental practices. We are looking for in-depth irrigation knowledge of administration contracts, documenting services and installation actions.

Irrigation Contract Management:

The role involves promptly reviewing and approving irrigation contracts, building strong industry relationships, implementing an efficient contract management system, monitoring irrigation contracts’ compliance, overseeing irrigation contract management, and maintaining accurate records.

Project Support:

The role also requires assisting in planning and coordinating irrigation projects and providing crucial support to ensure their successful completion. Your responsibilities encompass various project administrative tasks such as documentation, meeting management, budget handling, and employing time management skills to keep the team on schedule.

Project Oversight:

In addition, the position will require overseeing daily project functions to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met and reporting to a Project Manager or senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with project managers, irrigation engineering professionals, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure objectives are achieved including sales, purchases, and business partnerships.

Providing counsel to senior management on pertinent irrigation matters and executing their directives.

Compiling and evaluating submissions and reports regarding organisational irrigation operations.

Gathering and scrutinising data associated with undertaken irrigation projects and presenting findings on project results related to irrigation and analysing potential risks by working with legal and procurement teams.

Addressing inquiries, and managing documents resolving issues related to irrigation contractual agreements, initiatives, undertakings, rendered services, and impacted individuals.

Developing, assessing, and negotiating modifications to contractual agreements, initiatives, undertakings, and offerings as well as ensuring compliance with irrigation legal requirements.

Supervising irrigation contractor activities and managing all aspects of proposal preparation, contract performance, and contract closeouts.

Maintaining organised records.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience working with, negotiating and managing contracts with minimum 5 years of experience within the irrigation industry.

Knowledge and understanding of the legal and compliance requirements and risk assessment involved in specific irrigation contracts.

Attention to detail and ability to notice errors.

Working knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting.
