Job summary

Zenergy Group partners with a well-established Australian organisation to recruit a National Health & Safety Business Partner. The role supports operations across multiple locations with hands-on safety leadership, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will engage with frontline teams, operational management and senior leadership, travelling to sites as required and shaping safety performance through inspections, training and risk management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience as an H&S Advisor, Senior Advisor or Business Partner.
• Experience across infrastructure, utilities, engineering services, facilities management, manufacturing or similar field.
• Practical experience managing workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Strong capability in incident investigations, risk assessments, inspections and audits.
• Working knowledge of contemporary safety management systems and ISO standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on safety support across operational teams and field activities.
• Build relationships with managers, supervisors and staff to promote safety culture.
• Coordinate workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and safety observations across locations.
• Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Support maintenance and continuous improvement of safety systems and procedures.
• Maintain safety reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
