Job summary

RACGP is seeking an Academic Post Program Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of the Academic Post Program, including promotion, applications, selection, and funding administration. You will manage relationships with universities, registrars, presenters and internal teams, coordinating a national education program to strengthen GP research and teaching capabilities.

The role reports to the Senior Education Researcher, with responsibilities across contracts, funding, and program activities,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex programs, grants, projects or education initiatives from planning through to evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, contract management and relationship-building skills across diverse groups.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
• An understanding of research, education or healthcare environments, with a commitment to continuous improvement and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Academic Post Program, including promotion, applications, selection processes and funding administration.
• Manage relationships, contracts and program activities with universities, registrars, presenters and key internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and facilitate a national education and support program that builds research and teaching capability in GPs in training.
• Evaluate and continuously improve program outcomes, using insights and stakeholder feedback to enhance the future GP workforce.
