Job summary

Surf Life Saving Australia is seeking an experienced Event Administrator to support national events, coordinate volunteers and contractors, and ensure safe, timely delivery within budget. You will manage documentation, schedules and communications across multiple stakeholders.

You will have strong organisation, attention to detail, and MS Office proficiency, with ability to travel to national events when required. A not-for-profit environment experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience supporting planning and delivery of large-scale events.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel and attend national events when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event planning documents, schedules and timelines.
• Assist with site planning, contractors and suppliers coordination.
• Develop bump-in/out schedules for efficient delivery.
• Administer event entries, results and participant information systems.
• Prepare and distribute operational communications to stakeholders.
• Coordinate volunteers, officials and contractors to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage contractor quotations, tenders and compliance documentation.
• Support budget monitoring, WHS compliance and post-event reviews.
