Job summary

Motion is seeking a National Manager - Contracts to lead the strategy, negotiation and management of national contracts and agreements across Australia. You will work with senior leaders, sales, operations, suppliers and key customers to deliver sustainable growth and strong customer outcomes.

You will lead a specialist Contracts team, coach and develop capabilities, and report to the EGM Industrial Solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts, commercial management, or sales with strong negotiation skills.
• Strong stakeholder-management and leadership capability.
• Commercially astute, organised and analytical with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with national accounts, tenders, contract risk and process improvement is valued.
• Relevant qualifications in contracts, commerce or law are desirable.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of National Contract Managers.
• Own strategic national contract negotiations, tenders and reviews.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer and supplier stakeholders.
• Drive new-business opportunities and grow key national accounts.
• Ensure contract performance, compliance, profitability and risk controls.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve customer value.
