Job summary

Mapei Australia Pty Ltd seeks a National Sales Manager – Concrete Solutions to lead and execute the national sales strategy for concrete admixtures. The role oversees sales teams across multiple states and focuses on customer acquisition, retention, profitability, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will drive major contracts, expand key accounts, and collaborate with the National Product Manager to align with corporate growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Sales, Marketing, Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of concrete admixtures experience, with at least 5 years in sales leadership.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans to deliver revenue and market share growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and profitability.
• Experience managing major accounts, distribution networks, and strategic customer relationships.
• Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, sales analytics, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the achievement of national sales revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
• Agree on annual sales targets, forecasts, KPIs, and performance measures for the Concrete Solutions Sales Team.
• Monitor, analyse and report sales performance, market activity, and customer trends for the admixture business unit.
• Drive customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue diversification strategies.
• Lead major contract negotiations and secure high-value opportunities with strategic customers.
• Expand key accounts, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and execute the national sales strategy for the admixture business unit in alignment with the Corporate Business Plan and growth objectives.
• Ensure sales plans, initiatives, and business activities are aligned to national strategic objectives.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth initiatives to maximise market share.
