Job summary

Queensland Health invites applications for National Manager – Caring@Home Project to lead a high-impact national initiative improving access to end-of-life care at home. You will provide strategic direction, oversee a multi-million-budget, and coordinate workstreams across advocacy, education, communications, resources and research from Brisbane.

This role requires senior leadership, strong governance and stakeholder engagement to influence national partners and deliver evidence-based care

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience managing complex programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong financial governance, strategic planning and risk management capabilities.
• Advanced communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills for national collaboration.
• Collaborative and inclusive leadership with commitment to culturally safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the national caring@home project and drive initiatives to improve access to quality end-of-life care at home.
• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for a major national project funded through to June 2030.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee a multi-million-dollar project budget.
• Drive national workstreams across advocacy, education, communications, resources and research.
