Job summary

FutureYou, in partnership with a well-established Australian industrial organisation, seeks an experienced National Asset & Maintenance Manager based in Western Sydney with frequent travel to Queensland sites.

You will own a national portfolio valued at >$10 million, drive a best-practice asset framework, and shift maintenance to a structured preventive program to enhance reliability and asset life across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing asset and maintenance functions at regional, state, or national level.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance programs, warranty management, and contractor governance.
• Experience with large fleets of plant, machinery, cranes, forklifts and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own a national portfolio of high-value machinery, plant, equipment, and infrastructure valued at over $10 million.
• Develop and implement a best-practice asset management framework across multiple sites.
• Transition maintenance from reactive to structured preventive maintenance to improve reliability and uptime.
• Manage external maintenance contractors, service providers, and OEM relationships.
• Provide strategic asset management input into major facility relocation and infrastructure projects.
• Deliver reporting and recommendations to senior leadership on asset performance and investment.
