Job summary

Select Plant Australia is seeking a Senior Asset Portfolio Leader to own the national asset portfolio and direct its future performance. You will lead investment, maintenance, redeployment and disposal decisions to maximise value and deliver better lifecycle planning.

You will build insights from data, drive improvements to asset availability and reliability, and partner with Operations, Finance and OEMs to align strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management, construction management, business, commerce or related discipline.
• Substantial senior leadership experience in asset-intensive industries.
• Current Australian driver licence and willingness to travel regularly to operational sites and partner locations.
• Proven success setting and executing enterprise asset strategy, capital plans and investment roadmaps.
• Strong commercial and financial leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the asset strategy and capital investment roadmap.
• Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including investment, onboarding, maintenance, redeployment and disposal.
• Monitor asset availability, utilisation, reliability and whole-of-life performance.
• Lead capital planning, asset investment prioritisation and lifecycle cost management.
• Assess asset economics, including utilisation, operating costs, return on investment and disposal value.
• Develop business cases for investment into current asset base or to support an increase in future fleet capabilities.
• Accountable for ensuring assets comply with legislative, regulatory, accreditation and internal governance requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, HSE, Commercial, Sales and Transformation teams on asset priorities.
• Maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, suppliers, regulators and industry partners.
• Lead and develop asset management specialists and technical capability.
