Job summary

Chobani Australia is seeking a National Account Manager for Independents to lead the Metcash partnership and drive national growth across the Independent Grocery channel.

You will own customer strategy, manage senior relationships and work across Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and field teams to translate plans into measurable results.

Over the past 15 months, our partnership with Metcash has created access to thousands of independent grocery stores across Australia and is positioning us for the next phase of growth.

As National Account Manager - Independents, you'll lead our Metcash partnership and play a key role in shaping how our brands show up across the Independent Grocery network. You'll own customer strategy, drive commercial performance and work across Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and our field teams to turn plans into results.

This is a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands on execution. One day you may be leading a Joint Business Planning discussion or range review with senior customer stakeholders. The next, you'll be analysing promotional performance, reviewing forecasts, solving operational challenges or aligning State Account Managers and merchandising partners behind a national plan.

Your Experience

We're looking for someone who can step into the role with credibility and confidence from day one.

You'll bring direct Metcash experience, a strong understanding of the Independent Grocery landscape and proven success managing senior customer relationships.

Experience leading Joint Business Plans, range reviews, promotional programs, forecasting and commercial performance is essential.

And you'll be someone who can balance commercial thinking with strong execution and understand that successful customer partnerships are built through both.
